Unfortunately, we have withdrawn the fixed price servicing. The bronze, silver and gold services will still be used the only difference is we price each service to your vehicle.

Its something that we have tried not to do but due to the increased cost of some parts/oils that are being used on vehicles, which makes it unviable to do fixed prices. Oil prices have increased about 30% in the last couple of months as well.

Modern engines are using special oils which are specific to the engine being used. We have in stock 10 or more different spec/grade engine oils now days.

We offer servicing at 3 levels, Gold, Silver and Bronze or we can follow exact manufacturers schedule.

Some modern diesel vehicles require specialist sealed fuel filters which are more expensive than the old style paper element or screw in fuel filters and are not included in the the guide price. If this is the case, we will tell you before we commence the service. Vehicles these days may also require specialist oils and these too, can be more expensive than "normal" oils. This is especially true of modern diesel engines made after 2008 and any vehicle with "stop/start" technology. Due to emissions regulations, constant stop start demands and environmental requirements, low SAPS/ASH content oils must be used to prevent damage to Diesel Particulate Filters or damage/wear to engine components. Again, we will advise you before commencing the service premium oil is required and what the additional cost will be.

If the vehicle requires, or the customer requires, “branded” oil (such as Mobil1 or Magnatech) then a premium will be charged, by agreement.

All of the oils we use are of the latest specifications and individually chosen to meet the manufacturers recommendations or exceed them.

Manufacturers specification servicing can be undertaken on any vehicle by mileage/year, pricing negotiated on service schedule requirements. We cannot, however, undertake software upgrades.

Your vehicle may be fitted with either a timing belt or a timing chain. Timing chains are more robust and manufacturers do not normally suggest a replacement interval. Timing belts, however, are the weak point on an engine and are subject to a replacement schedule , normally stated as a number of months or miles. The timing belt is not replaced or checked during this or any other service we offer. If you are not certain if the timing belt has been replaced in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, we strongly suggest that you have this component (and any ancillary tensioners, water pump and pulleys etc) replaced as soon as possible. This is especially true of diesel engine vehicles due for an MOT. Failure of this component will almost certainly do serious damage to your vehicles engine and nearly all cases, will result in your vehicle being a total write off!
